10 Days to $1,000

Day 1 – $50: Set up your plan to raise the $1,000. Consider creating a fundraising campaign and make a self-donation to encourage others to give who are in your personal network

Day 2 – $300: Ask five close friends to match your donation of $50 each for your birthday.

Day 3 – $500: Ask four of your immediate family members to donate $50 each instead of purchasing gifts for you this year.

Day 4 – $650: Post a link to your online fundraising site on all of your social media accounts and encourage others to donate, even $15. If ten people participate that’s another $150!

Day 5 – $750: Ask four co-workers for a $25 contribution for your cause for an additional $100.

Day 6 – $800: See if your company will match your original $50 donation to your campaign.

Day 7 – $925: Consider asking five neighbors to contribute $25 each.

Day 8 – $975: Look around your house for items you no longer want but can sell on Facebook Marketplace, Nextdoor or other sites for someone else to enjoy and raise another $50 or more!

Day 9 – $1,000: You’re in the homestretch now! Take those bottles to the recycling center that are taking space up in your garage to fund your last $25!

Day 10 – $1,100: Be a super star – raise an additional $100 & join the 110% Club! Save the money you would normally use for other activities – pack your lunch vs. going out to eat, make your own coffee vs. getting it on the way, carpool with a friend to save gas money, forego one date night and watch a movie at home instead, etc.
