Food Drive!
Join us for Donations & Donuts!
Many of us overstocked our pantries when the pandemic hit. With our community pantries in great need of food, now is the perfect time to purge your pantry (or grab a few things at the grocery store next trip) and donate to those who are less fortunate.
Gather your unexpired and non-perishable food donations and meet us on February 27. Pull through the drop-off area, open your trunk and we’ll gladly unload your car for you.
For those interested in socially-distant, outdoor socializing, we’ll have donuts, hot coffee and warm conversation ready for you! (Also, Franklin Community Park is adjacent to the drop-off location and is a great place for kids to run around.)
Through the Franklin Church’s Mission Activities, all full-sized pantry items like canned goods and pasta will be donated to the Baldwin Center in Pontiac, which feeds over 30,000 meals a year to those in Oakland County. Your single serving donations like chip-bags, granola bars and fruit cups will be assembled into meal-kits by the church and provided to Cass Community for distribution to the homeless in urban Detroit.
Please register in advance by submitting your email this way we can track how many people to expect!
