Safe Talk Training with Friendship Circle
Did you know suicide is the leading cause of death in the United States for 13 and 14-year-olds according to the Annals of Pediatrics and Child Health?
September is Suicide Prevention Month. Join us for evidence-based suicide prevention training from one of our previous award recipients, The Friendship Circle. Learn how to make a life-saving connection. This training will also be open to the public. A light dinner will be provided. Feel free to bring your teen (age 15+) and/or a friend. Teens will receive community service hours for attending the training and your friend(s) will be able to see all the great work our award recipients are doing in our community.
