Meet Tiffany Radon!
How long have you been a member? 5 years
What inspired you to join the organization? I wanted to make a difference within my community, and meet other like-minded women in order to build a sense of community.
How has your membership impacted your life? Joining Impact100 OC has simplified my charitable giving each year by putting it all in one place. Also, by joining and now co-chairing Grant Review Committees each year, it’s enabled me to be more aware of the needs in my community and brought visibility to the non-profits addressing the needs.
What is your favorite Impact100 memory? Seeing the big checks get handed out every year at the Annual Grant Reveal Event!
What can you tell someone who is thinking about joining Impact100 Oakland
County? Impact is fantastic because as a member, you can be involved as much or as little as you have time for. It can be as simple as handing over a check and that’s it – or you can come for events, join Grant Review Committees, or even join the board. It’s a bit of a choose-your-own Adventure!
Tell us a little bit about YOU! I grew up in southeast Michigan, and spent my college years earning a BFA in Fashion Design in Savannah, Georgia. Returning home to Michigan after college, I now spend my workdays leading a team of garment engineers for a Michigan-based national workwear company and advocating for improvements in the apparel industry. In my free time I enjoy sewing, knitting, and other crafty pursuits. I’ve been an Impact100 OC Member since 2020, participated in Grant Review Committees since 2023, and joined the board in 2024.
Thank you for sharing your story with us Tiffany, and for your many contributions
to our organization!
