Jessica was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Environmental Studies. Following graduation, Jessica spent 8 years on active duty as a Marine Corps aviator. She is currently a Major in the Marine Corps Reserves and works for a local family foundation. Jessica is married with two daughters and serves as the Chair of Member Recruitment.
