Pat grew up in Farmington, MI, received a BA in Education from MSU,and a MA in Reading from EMU. She taught elementary education for 36 years before retiring. Since retirement, she devotes a great deal of her time to volunteer activities. She worked at the Detroit Zoo for many years prior to the Pandemic, serves as a Child Assist at CARE House of Oakland, works at the Bloomfield Public Library as a volunteer in the gift shop which raises money to support the library, tutors for the Oakland County Literacy Council, drives for Bloomfield Township Wheels on Meals, serves on the Board of the Prechter Advisory Board at the University of Michigan, and serves on the Grievance Committee for St. Joe’s Hospital, Pontiac. She is a member of Women of Bloomfield, which supports CARE House and SCAMP, a summer camp for disabled students. She has been a member of IMPACT 100 for 5 years, and has served on 3 grant committees. She is looking to make a greater contribution to IMPACT by joining the Nonprofit team.
